Medical Applicators can be used in two different ways for every lotion – closed-cell or duo-open-over-closed-cell. The white closed-cell applicator is best for thicker, oilier applications like Vaseline, whereas the open cell green, black, and eggshell applicators can be snugly fitted over the white closed-cell applicator.
