Why You Should Use the ViaBuff Medical Applicator and Handle

If you have read through our blog even once, you know that we at ViaBuff love, love, love exfoliation, and we love designing efficient and affordable exfoliative tools even more. But we don’t limit our efforts just to exfoliation; we have also designed a Medical Applicator that allows you to apply moisturizers, sunscreen, medicines, and other topical products without worrying about adhesives being absorbed into your skin, whereas the ViaBuff Handle helps you to reach those hard-to-get-to places. Below we’ve given a little overview of why you should consider using the Medical Applicator and Handle (and why they make such great Christmas gifts!).

The ViaBuff Medical Applicator

Winter can dry out the skin all over your body, including hard-to-reach areas like your back. Additionally, if you have limited mobility, it can be hard to reach your feet, neck, or even your legs. That’s where the ViaBuff Medical Applicator comes in. The Medical Applicator is made of open-cell polyurethane that limits water retention. Even better, our special design prevents products from absorbing into the Medical Applicator so that they may be massaged more thoroughly into your skin. What makes our design so special is that it was created without the use of adhesives. Adhesives are typically dissolved by lotions, with these potentially-toxic adhesive by-products being absorbed into the skin. With our ViaBuff Medical Applicator, lotions, serums, and creams are not absorbed into the foam, thus preventing adhesive dissolution and wasted skincare products. Medical Applicators can be used in two different ways for every lotion – closed-cell or duo-open-over-closed-cell. The white closed-cell applicator is best for thicker, oilier applications like Vaseline, whereas the open cell green, black, and eggshell applicators can be snugly fitted over the white closed-cell applicator. These applicators are better for thin, runny lotions and therapies. If you want to wash your applicator, just gently rinse it in warm water.

But just how do you use the Medical Applicator if it doesn’t have any adhesive ingredients? The ViaBuff 19-inch Handle can help you out. The Handle was designed to help you apply lotions to those hard-to-reach areas, but also can be attached to the Medical Applicator. Each applicator has two small holes where the two-pronged handle can be inserted – it’s as easy as 1-2-3! When you are finished, make sure to rinse or wipe-down each of your products. Each product can be assembled and reassembled numerous times, so don’t worry about keeping the components attached once you are done with your Handle and Medical Applicator.

Bottom Line

Suitable for virtually every lotion, cream, and serum, the ViaBuff Medical Applicator was designed so that you can apply products with no mess or fuss. The applicators do not absorb any products and are free of adhesives, so you don’t have to worry about wasting some of your skincare products or introducing toxic chemicals to your skin. The ViaBuff Handle works in perfect complement with our Medical Applicator by allowing you to get to hard-to-reach areas. Even if you aren’t in need of any Christmas gift ideas, the ViaBuff Medical Applicator and ViaBuff Handle are great options for a more thorough and efficient skincare routine.
